k850-not impressive,with noise is even clearly seen in outddoor pictures with inferior sensor.i would definately go for phone which takes pictures with less noise but lower resolution.And the build quality isnt impressive to me.
So k800 and k810i is the best way to go,it can really take good 3mp images and the material is also well durable,and not glossy and fingerprint or prone to scratches and dust unlike k850i,and keeping in mind that k850 problems are not still solved,
and if u need touch screen i would say p1i,because its little stable,although the camera is disappointing again.and the green tint problem.with half qwerty keuboard it turns out to be business phone but it can manage music at decent enough level.overall i would say p1 as fair ,as prices of p1i had fallen enough it looks attractive.if u want simple to use device p1i is definately not for u
But ur buying pattern is unknown since u have lastly used s500i,couldnt predict,may be i think u need a good looking simple phone.

my 2-cents: the K850 can also play music as well and altho it may lack the Walkman interface, the fact remains that it could play any music file that the W960 can play. the W960 can also shoot pictures but not as sharp as the K850 due mainly to lack of the great camera features of the latter, and the Xenon flash unit! UI system-wise and user-friendliness, the K850 is much easier to navigate and use than the W960. well, of course, each SE fan (and non-fan) would have his/her own say on this case since as the cliche goes: "experience is relative"
there you go, mate. settle first the issue of what you actually wanted in a phone. once you have decided on this, everything else will follow and decision time would be easier for you. but whatever you choose would still be a great buy.

W960i supports:
GSM 900
GSM 1800
GSM 1900
UMTS 2100
So you can use only GSM 1900 in Canada and not in all coverage places.
So you should took K850i. It can work:
GSM 850 (for North America)
GSM 900
GSM 1800
GSM 1900 (for North America)
UMTS 850
UMTS 1900 (for North America)
UMTS 2100 (for North America)
+ EDGE and HSDPA
