Can someone explain why GDESK is so good, i tried it and it sucks
for the first i do not like icons that ar messing up my background image
second, if i choose to runt gdesk as soon as i press like say the message icon, the "old/normal os theme/menys shows" and that sucks even more.
looks more nicer the way it is and more like "one" than 2 different layout/themes. and i personaly have no problems finding in the normal menus so i don't need shortcuts.

that's it, people love Gdesk because they can design it like a desktop computer.
I quit this - amazing! - app for the same reasons: all icons displayed onscreen all the time are not for me and also normal Uiq menu is absolutely fine and logicall.
People love it for the customization abilities (endless!).

edit: if GDESK was a OS ontop of UIQ (meaning changing the whole phone aperance then i would have loved it but that is not the case.

skibbe, doministry, fact is, gdesk alows me to group apps in logical way, and at my will, unlike the normal UIQ3 menus...that way, i can acess certain apps much faster than going from the normal menus...
