I think he means that his P990 is voda branded and wants to flash it with generic firmware?
Are you going to flash it yourself or do you want to use an online service?

Looks nice! Like an improved home screen with icons big enough for thumbs. Are you sure you want to replace that with the very basic default screen?

You need to debrand the phone using XS++ and then run SEUS to put the World generic 1 latest firmware on.
Then and ONLY then will you have the original software on the phone

Looks like the horrendous "heavy-branded" firmware I originally had on my old M600i. I was saddled with it (and all the early-firmware bugs) until I debranded it myself. Apparently later M600i's from Voda had a lighter-branded version installed, but they never released that firmware for their other M600i customers through SEUS or anywhere else.
I guess they did the same thing with early P990's.
To the OP - debranding is the only way. It'll vastly improve your phone.
@AbuBasim - trust me, it's not "nice"! It's FUGLY, breaks most of the UIQ3 conventions, is incompatible with almost all UIQ3 themes, is totally locked down and restricted, and if its anything like my M600i it's based on very early firmware and is chock full of bugs!
I can't even begin to imagine what was going on in Voda's hive mind when they saw the first UIQ3 phones rolling off the production line and decided to spend time and effort doing that to them. Throwing up in the boxes would have been quicker, and just as desirable.

THat's horrible.
Looks like Vodafone ideed.
BUt it may be just Theme?
Maybe Theme change would help?
In Poland they F.... the phones similar way in Orange, too.
And the ony way to kick it is debrand it.
What a terrible idea.
