Actually, SE sync works fine on non-symbian SE phones. If you use MyPhoneExplorer you can sync flawlessly between either Outlook, Thunderbird, Google and a range of other systems, direct to your phone. You can also effectively sync between phone and outlook using PS Suite.
For P1, I'm not sure what to use, though I don't see why the bluetooth pim sync shouldn't do the job? Or for that matter PC Suite. Make sure the phone numbers in outlook are type correctly.

well i just got outlook and put stuff into adress book (i guess its faster)...
but when i import the contacts...beside the phone number the phone will write like...
a number and then something in brackets for work or home
so
(416) 555 5555 (w) or (h)
and it makes its own number field in the phone... (it does not use mobile or home)
which is kinda stupid?
unless im doing something wrong when i put a contact in adress book?
Can you please indicate what phone you have? It's hard to assist when we don't know what handset you are using. Make sure numbers in the Outlook Address book are typed as the number only. Outlook will convert a mobile number from 0412345678 into (04) 1234 5678. But ignore this in outlook, it will still copy across to your phone properly.

Start using Outlook Express, so you can sync 'em.

max_wedge: I indicated in my first post that im using the SE M600i
I did type the number as a regular number such as 5552232222
however the thing is that it does not go under mobile or home (which is a field on the phone)...
it creates a third field with the number that is gotten from outlook and labels the numbers with either the (w) or (h)....and leaves the other 2 mobile/home fields blank...
do you understand what i mean?
701:I just did use outlook express i said in the post..but it bugs me that it shows that stuff in brackets and makes its own fields so i thought if anyone knew a way around it...

well it is off topic but anyway the answer is no, there is no way on K700 to send more than one at a time.

Sorry, my bad!

if you are exporting data out of outlook express, it may be that you need to have a look how the outlook express fields are mapped to M600 fields when you are importing them. I'm sorry I'm not much help because I've never imported into a symbian SE so I'm not familiar with the process.
What software are you using to import the address book into M600?
If it was Outlook it should just work using PC Suite, but Outlook Express is not compatible with PC Suite (Outlook and Outlook Express are not the same thing. "Outlook" is part of Office, "Outlook Express" comes free with windows)
