I have absolutely no understanding of WHY P800 isnt out in any stores in other countries than Sweden! This is another tragic example of how SE fails to inform its consumers, which in the end only leads to frustration and anger..
I`m really fed up!
I actually feel like an idiot that have been waiting for a phone since september! SE has made a good job hyping the phone, but the wait should absolutely be over by now!

I agree - it's beyond my comprehension why SE decided to go into endless delays when it's obvious that the phone's ready to go.
Missing Xmas sales (and sales in general...) at this critical times for SE venture is simply baffling.
I guess everyone makes mistakes but this just has to be a major marketing f**ck-up and it will cost SE dearly.
meanwhile, we wait, wait and....wait.

Well. Acording to posts on this forum the phone was only finished a week or two ago. Releasing it to 8 markets withing a couple of weeks from that is pretty good acturlly. Even if it's in limited numbers. Production takes time people. They don't just wave a magic wand and then a billion phones appear. They said last week that they would have phones out in 8 selected markets by chrismas. And they most likely will. Not sure what the misinformation is. Or even what delay you are talking about. They didn't say monday anywhere.

I know about manufacture and magic wands...it just doesn't happen that easy. But SE had 6 months to figure it out!! Technology inside P800 is amazing, but it isn't an invention...separate components that make it such as Bluetooth, storage, touchscreen, Symbian, GPRS, etc have all been existing since long time and it was only a question of putting it together in one box. Sony and Ericsson are bigger than big - they are HUGE! Lack of resources, know-how or experience wasn't the case here.
I know they strive to create a sturdy, stable device and they might very well succeed at that. P800 has been troubled by poor management, crappy planning and unclear outline of what should be included...they decided to add the memory stick when the telephone was practically wrapped! Couldn't they include it initially?
Surely SE could've handled this project better....
