actually is very easy...this has been posted several times:
1. Connect you phone in mass storage mode (AKA Data Transfer), or use a memory card reader.
2. Go to \\private\\10202dce on the phone's folder, from you PC
3. You'll find the installer files (.sis) just delete them and you're done.
And pronto, you are read of the stupid installer prompts

Well, they say prevention is better than cure, so to prevent prompts at startups after a hard reset/format, remember to uninstall all apps beforehand, it's simply cleaner that way
