I use a mac, so just download the sis file and BT it over to my P1i......

I'll uninstall it and delete the private stuff as you suggest and see where I get!

Thanks

I have this problem also. Each time I try to access the service pages I get the error mentioned above. KERN error , number 3.

I have the latest firmware in the phone and 4.82 bberry connect software. The problem only appears when I access >settings>advanced and I get a dump file as the app crashes.

This is really annoying - I am trying to use the phone to access work email. It woks most of the time.

I also find the service freezes at times and I am not sure how to restart it. Help woould be welcome.....

I had the KERN error until I switched off transitions in the phone and now the KERn error 3 no longer happens.

However the BB service now last for about 5 mins and then says its connected but neither receives or sends anything.

I am not sure where I have gone wrong. I have installed and re-installed a number of times and still the same thing happens.

I am connected to BES - Its really annoying because I don't think its reliable enough to use for work.

I also wish there was a wide screen version or landscape version as there is in the browser software or a way to reduce the font size.

ANy one know where to get a user guide for BB Connect v4??

fatreg - how did you get in contact with SE? Is their support number easy to get?
