The AVP graphic novels were a great read in their time(about a decade before someone had the lame idea that they could make a film from them)...unfortunately, the films encapsulate about...oo, 0.5% of them......
Face it though, an AvP scrap IS a good'un!

Yes, and it deserves to be visualised in awesome graphics and special affects. I suppose I DID enjoy Transformers forthe special affects, even if the movie itself was pretty lame.
So basically if AvP II has good special effects it's worth seeing, if not forget it.

I'll still be going to the pics to see this, I love the whole Alien and Predator series, and enjoyed AVP. As long as its an 18 rating, gots lots of gore, blood and deaths, that little bit of nudity you come to expect lol, I'm happy. You don't need a storyline lol.

It LOOKS like some of the peeps here does NOT know how to APPRECIATE, computer-generated-effects that contributes MOST in the latest flicks out in the cinemas
To BETTER fully understand it . . . try comparing this - AVP flick with those of: Gone With the Wind and Casablanca (40's-50's BEST films) . . .

Being a life long Aliens and Predator fan was very much looking forward to this one for a while, but guess i won't bother now will just wait for the DVD.I agree with one of the previous posts Alien and Predator just haven't been the same since the first couple. Was watching the first Predator on TV the other night for the 100th time i think?and i still enjoyed it,i guess they can't make them now the way they used to such a shame as the fan base is huge yet the film makers can't provide the goods.

From the trailer, I couldn't see any decent special affects, which is why I was doubtful it was worth seeing. Atleast transformers had AWESOME special affects.
And no token nudity, that's just rude! (or not rude enough)
