It looks OK to ME . . . maybe it has something to do with the THEME, that is, if you are using one

I thought it was the theme too, but I've tried all that came with it. If you hold it in your hands, it just gives you the feeling that it's tilted to the left. It's more obvious on some screens than others. I can't get a good photo of it to show what I see. But, trust me, it's not straight.

impossible for screen to be tilted unless the 2 screws that hold the screen have not been fitted.
From the PIC it looks alrit, just look near the battery and signal strength.

Actually, it's not impossible. It may be how it was installed, it may be the way the framing is cut. Whatever it was, the shop changed it for a new one which does not have the same problem. Apparently, they saw the tilt too. Oddly though, the new screen doesn't seem quite as bright. Maybe SE tilted it to the left so it would be brighter. |-) I'm just glad I don't have tilt my head now to look at the thing, because it sure is pretty. :-0

I have the same crooked a$$ screen. For people who are as anal as I am about my shiny phone looking and functioning the way it should then its pretty annoying.
I talked to SE Service center and they said my only option is to mail the phone back...but it sounds like this is a bad batch of phones based on the posting dates....I want to open the phone up and see if maybe its just fitted wrong but the disassembly isnt exactly the same as K800 and I cant find a how to guide for the K810....
Anybody have any links on such a guide? Has anyone tried opening up the phone and checking to see if its just an installation error?

My new one still doesn't seem perfectly straight but it's definitely better than the first one I exchanged. However, the speaker sucks on the new one. It clips out really badly at loudest volume with ringtones and music. I think it's a beautiful phone, I'm happy with the UI and the camera, but I'm starting to wonder about the build quality. Screens shouldn't be off-center and the speaker shouldn't sound worse than my k750i (which is a year and a half old and still sounds better).

Hi
Are you sure you dont have a duplicate LCD on?
Because its very hard to find OEM LCD display, most of it in the market is non OEM and you can clearly make out the difference in the colours between the OEM and non oem.
So becareful when ever you give it to someone.

I wouldn't know the difference in LCDs even if someone slapped me in the head with both of them. The new k810i came out of a sealed box, though, I suppose they could just as well shrink wrap it themselves here in Indonesia. The inside of the phone seems normal, but who knows? It's still a pretty phone. The speaker's bugging me though.

my K810i was fine, but i have the same problem with my W960i, since the SESC indonesia is a crock, i had to sell mine and bought a new one, and been happy since
it's just SE Quality Check Control that failed

SESC? Sony Ericsson Sxxx Cxxx? Not familiar with that term. Are the Indo models for SE assembled in Indonesia? What about Nokia? Any problems with them in Indo?
