PS2 all the way... It's just a better system, way more games and get a mod-chip put in that badboy and you'll be playing games for way cheaper too.

when i first got gta vice city i sat up and played it for almost 4 days straight with about 5 hours sleep each night. one night i sat up till 6 in the mornin.

Tough choice. I have both, although the ps2 has more exclusive games, the quality of the xbox games is so much better. After playing an xbox game, it makes vice city look like a ps1 title. Not to metion the fact the xbox has a harddrive so you can listen to your own music while playing most games. Also metal gear solid is no longer ps2 exclusive as mgs2 substance is being released on both consols. The xbox is already online compatable, with lots of people beta testing at the moment, with it going online officially on march the 14th, whereas the ps2 is a fair bit off that stage and the harddrive for the ps2 might not even come out untill next year in the uk. I would recommend getting the xbox, as it is also cheaper than the ps2!!!

Sorry, I was refering to the uk only in my post. I think it is online in Japan, and the xbox is fully online in America.
