A generic solution for SE phones with regards to big memorycards is to organize your files in folders consistently (say 10-15 files max per folder) so that no one folder would contain too many songs, this is what makes it go really slow. Try organizing the files and you'll see the difference in speed. This is based from my experience with an 8gb mspd on my P990 and m2 on my cousin's W850. Cheers

Great advice. Thanks

@all

thanks for your response guys...

has anyone tried with 4GB Micro SD instead of 4GB M2?

Hi I'm using a 4GB HC Micro SD and it's working fine on my K850i. I have yet to experience any lag when accessing my SD but then I don't really have that much data on my card yet. I have only about 500MB of images and MP3.

I am using the extra nokia microSD 1GB I won with my ex-n95 and it's working like a charm!
Also M2 are doing problems with SE phones like the famous ''operation failed'' perhaps I am saying ''perhaps'' this kind of problems don't occur with microSD

I have my music organized by iTunes so all albums are in their own folder and it still to slow to really use. Started putting the ones I listen it more frequently into Playlists now as can access a lot faster.

Yes - just read back a few posts. I've found an 8Gb microSDHC (class 4) with 6Gb of music makes the Media player to slow to use although other people don't seem to have a problem.

I use a sandisk MicroSD 4GB card and it works well when full with music and photos.
It's a bit sluggish but then it's like that if i take the card out and use the phone memory instead. The K850 is just a bit slow i think.
Restarting the phone when you add or remove a lot of content is advised by SE.
