Just a quick update.
I have put an o2 pay as you go sim card in the phone and it works fine (makes and receives calls)
so this phone is open to any o2 sim card.

I tested connection with my wireless network and that was fine too.
not sure about gprs as I don't have that enabled on my pay as you go o2 sim card.
can anyone else elaborate on whether they have tried it on a jailbreaked iphone v1.1.2 to browse?

The iphones I had with 1.1.2 jailbroken worked fine with gprs,wifi ect.
