Yes that's for sure. But that's the only charge if you use a free exchange server service.

At mail2web.com you receive a new e-mail as *****@mail2web.com and you also have access to your e-mail from outlook web access. And that outlook is always syncronised with your phone. You can also add other Pop3 e-mail accounts. For exemple I had my service provider forward my pop3 e-mails to my ***@mail2web.com address. This way I can receive all of my e-mails...
I tried mail2web before. It was nice, but my complaint was that the heartbeat intervals were short. Meaning, the cellphone would "ping" a lot, increasing GPRS/EDGE/3G transactions, which translate to higher phone bills.
Later, I found this (http://www.geocities.com/freepushmail). It has longer heartbeat intervals, full push mail capability, and lots of features available even for the permanently-free service account.

I'm wanting to set up mail2web so I can get my gmail pushed to my phone. I've been through the mail2web registration but I'm a bit confused how to get it pushed to my W960. My phone has ActiveSync on it so can I just type the details into that? Whats this talk about RoadSync? Do I need that instead/as well?
When I typed the details into ActiveSync it was asking questions about syncing contacts with Outlook which I wasnt sure about either.
Any help would be appreciated

Gmail now offers IMAP support and mail can be pushed to your phone by simply setting up a new e-mail account on the phone and entering the appropriate settings. A Mail2Web account is not required to have your Gmail pushed to your phone. For a lengthy discussion on this topic see the following thread:

Roadsync is ActiveSync made by a company called Dataviz instead of Microsoft.
