Well after 1hr on the phone with o2....

I have tried in another handset and no didnt make a difference...

I recieve SMS from ORANGE, T-Mobile and even from Cust Service O2.... but not from a O2 Contract SIM... they have said that my tx are waiting to come through....

So therefore they are sending me a replacement SIM.... finger crossed it should work otherwise will go mad.

Just to update....

Have programmed a new SIM and still having same problem....

Now they are saying it could be something wrong with my PREFIX....

Meaning the first part of my number....

07859.......

Any advice appreciated????

I had this problem before. I couldn't do nothing, cause O2's system wasn't updated. As far as I can remember, I had to wait a couple of weeks for them to fix it.
The other thing I had with them is when my sms cache got full in there system and they had to delete it. I think that was very strange...

Just finished speaking to them.... They have said it is being investigated by the Network Department and will look to resolve it within 72hrs... if it takes longer then that i'm gonna loose the plot....

I may actually ring them about SMS CACHE which you have mentioned...

Any other info would be appreciated....

I have tried 5 different o2 numbers to tx and have not received any of them on my phone...

I can get other tx from other networks and also can receive calls from all networks and makes calls to all.... tried different phones and still nothing....

So what is happening here????

is the prefix new? as in is it a new number? if so, it may well be that, it takes a while for the network to propagate the number but it being an O2 number texting an other O2 number it kinda doesn't make sense...

they said its pos that it could be faulty... they looking into it... The number is old... been with them for 3yrs now....

Need to know where I stand in legal... in case of breaking contract??? Anyone???

Its all working now....

Got 25 messages come through.... bloody hell... This is defo weird....

Had the same problem a few weeks back, didnt get any txt from someone for 3 days and then they all came at once !! very strange , didnt report or check it at the time as didnt know they where missing.
Its very annoying though and yep it was with o2.

Sounds like they have problems with their network... well will call them and update but make it clear about them needing to check it out...
