Guys, anything over HKD5000 is too expensive for the P800. If I were you I would wait. Feb. is a short month.

Is this for the P800 or P800c with traditional chinese support? If the latter, where can I get the best deal in town?

The best that you can do for the moment is that to wait, because the P800 (English version) will be out in 2 weeks time between the 7th to the 12th of March (I have recieved an e-mail about it). It will be $4980hk which is the best that you can get!!! The chinese versions will not be out until 2 months after the english version comes out. Yeah, I have just placed my pre-order!!! Yay, oh man, but the thing is that I am going overseas during that time and then be coming back on the 12th to Hong KOng. Me and my friend who is coming back with me here in Hong Kong will be going straight to the SE shop in Causeway Bay after checking out from the airport!!! Yay, P800 here I come....

But they said on their website that the english version P800 cannot be upgrade to Chinese version P800.........I don't understand it.......why other P800 users able to upload different language e.g. Italian, French etc to their P800.......and we can't upload Chinese language to a english version P800 ???

Well from what I know, Chinese will take up lots of memory, as you know the P800 uses 4 Mb of it's 16Mb for it's on board RAM. For Chinese, this should be at least 8 to 7Mb. Hence the chinese P800's will have only 9Mb of internal Memory. there, hoope that this helps.

But that doesn't explain why we couldn't upload chinese language pack into an english version P800.......I don't mind it used up lot more phone memory size.......but why this can't be done ???

As i said, you need more internal RAM not ROM. The RAM is for the processor usage. If you really want Chinese in your P800, the only way I think is to Reformat the whole phone, which I do not know if they can. You need more RAM to run Chinese, especially when running with chinese hand writing recognition. Chinese has so much more characters and so much more stuff that needs to be in the RAM. It does not even matter how much Memory you have for useage. What matters is the memory that is in the RAM. Did you get me there??
