I hope SE would make up at least 60% of their A200/UIQ UI to be ported in X1. User Interface is one of SE's best and UI comprises most of the user experience aspects of a phone imo

agree 100% razec.
I also agree it'd be nice if G series (atleast g900) had 3G but I'm still very impressed with the formfactor. I'll happily wait for the next g series if it has hsdpa.
As for windows not being fun? Who said that?

I find it the most flexible and customisable and therefore the most fun phone UI available.

I believe it's Beibei and the 2008 Flagship cybershot

phone.

i suspect the two will use UIQ 3.2 given the fact that K850 already used HSDPA and it is a must that it's update or successor should as well have it + WiFi too

I expect you are right. I must admit I like the G series, it'll be hard to decide if X1 will be enough to tempt me away from SE UI, or whether G series touchscreen is enough to pursuade me I don't need the X1!

i am quite convinced since i have used Windows mobile in the past, with a QVGA res, it won't be enough to temp me away from SE UI, but with bigger res, only time will tell.......

^^ That's why i yearned for a UI backporting to the windows OS so as whoever SE A200/UIQ user would still enjoy the richness of the platform UI they used to

and nice to see that we have some screenshots from the X1 utilizing the XMB UI. which means SE is taking attention of the GUI used from A200 and UIQ to be integrated unto Windows OS

and for sure SE knows how boring Windows UI is

good observation. It would be nice to know they care enough not to let the ui get boring. Not that I've got anything against Windows mobile, I like it personally, but it is a boring looking interface and also too stylus dependent to compete with a raw A100/200 UI.

boring or not, its really useful and far more users choose windows os over uiq, thats fact. next to it, htc devices are very welcome on almost every market. i have to admit, that i was never amazed of wm os, but since i mess around sometimes with trinity, i do like it. ok, it might look simple, but with spb software and some other useful apps, its very impressive. next to it, the tons of apps is also a bonus over uiq.

Yeah right but do you become aware of the other people i mean the people with less knowhows on the technicalities of a gadget and only based their perception of a good smartphone upon the pretty interface itself? if what you think that having a platform OS that has tons of app support is the point matters more than having as well a very good overall look of the UI then why still HTC developed TouchFLO?
