How misleading. Its "Speakerphone loudness test".

What has it got to with sound and music quality?

The best sound quality through headphones in NSeries is N81 and N91.
Through speakers the best is N95 8GB and N81.
The N95 8GB and N82 are equal in quality through headphones but through speakers the N82 sucks. The N95 8GB has improved a lot from the N81.

no you are mistaken. audio quality in SE phones suck beyond imagination, W910 being a prime example.

no i actually did use it. there is just one sweet spot where the quality is good but when you punch the volume down or above that, its just an ugly mess.

i dont have enough money to buy it both, so i have to gather some users opinion regarding the gadgets... i've tried a lot of nokia phones both i was so disappointed. and dont wanna waste my hard earned money owning a crappy phone... all i want is tthe audio quality from headphones not from loud speakers.... coz i use it as my substitute to my mp3 player.

N81 and N91 share THE SAME Toshiba DAC-33 DSP Sound chip, the ONLY difference is that N81 is a bit softer due to EU Volume Reduction law, otherwise both N91 and N81 are at the top with sound quality, i think Mobile-Review, Smape and some others have said so as well.
Ive heard W580 and W910, both were average, nothing to hype about, except the shake control, although using was embarrasing.
