I think most networks do trade ins they just require it to be able to make a call and send a text. Dont know why though cos they recycle them. Anyway good luck with that hope you get something decent. I remember last time i was on a Vodafone contract i had the W900i which was great so long ago now i no longer want a contract i hate them too easy to run up big bills and you have to wait too long to upgrade. With O2 pre pay i get something so much free stuff like 500 mins for 10 quid top up. Wow.

I ran out of space on last post. As i was saying on O2 pre pay i get 500 mins for 10 quid per month top up plus 10% of top ups back every 3 months plus an extra treat each month and i always choose 50% off calls and texts to other networks. Great i dont need no more than that. Though i get through my mins talking to my Italian friend everyday. Ciao.

Ok, let me set the record straight here:

This is for O2 shops ONLY, not CPW, not P4U, just actual O2 shops.

So long as your trade in phone works reasonably (ie the screen is not broken or smashed, the casing is all on it, it's not about fall apart etc), then you will get your money off.

The money off does depend on the phone you're buying, but NOT the phone you are trading in! I got £50 off for an old BT Alcatel from BT Business thats over 16 years old, literally.

The AMMOUNT that you get for your phone will depend on how MUCH the phone is your buying.

Some phones have up to £50 trade in, others have either £10, £20 or £30 trade ins (there's no £40 trade in).

The more expensive the phone, the higher the trade in.

So for example, my phone. Nokia 5610. Was £179.99, £50 trade in made it a very reasonable £129.99 (obviously with the £10 top up on top it was £139.99).

And I'm not your bank manager or anything, but if you're Uncles giving you £8000 inherritence and your going to blow £500 of it on a 'good' phone, then to be perfectly honest, your pretty stupid. That kind of money is the kind of thing you save for one big purchase, like your first car, no pissing it away on some throw away phone. I'm guessing you like what, 15, 16, there abouts? I bet in a years time you'll have pissed it all away on little things and when you REALLY need it, you'll be kicking yourself.

Sorry, rant over, I hate it when young people waste money.

Oh by the way i forgot to say. I got a Nokia 6300. The reason being is it was the best one in my current price range and it is a great phone. I got 30 quid off phone altogether plus they did a special promotion in store and gave me 20 quid free top up credit. Nice bonus. Cant moan i only paid in all 46 quid for the phone. This Nokia is very reliable phone and its latest software too camera not good in low light but outdoors its not bad though i dont really care at the moment i just wanted something that works that K800i was so bad.

Ive not heard anything back from Vodafone yet I made a cracking emailer anyway to them

ive also said if this is acceptable whats the next Wi-Fi phone I could exspect to have at a reasonable price lmao! I don't want another phone unless it has this feature!

I would love a W960i I think it's cheaper for me in terms of crying to them about a N95 lol..

see what happens anyway,
they might just advise me to have the E65 fixed as usual
it's not even 4 months old yet lol

Sean nice choice of phone I hope it lasts your reliability!!!!

I remember back in the day when i used to have a Vodafone contract once or twice they let me upgrade early. What happened was they charged me a fee on my bill or i could pay with a card plus cost of new phone but it used to prove expensive. O2 used to do it to though i think both companies stopped doing it. Orange still do it i think early upgrades i think what happens is your paying the rest of your contract off to get a new phone but its just silly paying that much money. I once had a bill for over 500 quid just stupid not worth it just for a mobile. Better off going down sim free. Oh when i got my new phone today it had a scratch on the back and a dead pixel on the screen so i took it back and the this one is now fine. Obviously bad factory work. Great phone though so fast and easy to text with and the build quality is the most solid i ever seen. No data cable in the box though i think thats O2 the gits. Good job i got a card reader for the pc. Anyway good luck with your phone Miss UK. Love to know what your real name is.
