Yeah. Still no mention of SyncML anywhere. I guess my own SyncML project can go on now. I just need to figure out how that Bluetooth API works and then I can get on to acturlly doing the SyncML parts =)

i own a powerbook g4, i hope the p800 will work with iSync, im pretty sure iSync will support it once its released, since SE and Apple have a good relationship now...

Once what is released? P800 or iSync? They both are. Not in the US perhaps. But they are both released.
My own project might be stalled a bit tho. I just found out yesterday that the P800 might now work with SyncML over OBEX on Bluetooth. My T68i responds correctly. But my P800 drops the connection. So a fix might be required from SE before it's possible to make a SyncML based solution.
Still. Apple should support SyncML even if the P800 don't work with it yet. They are a member of the SyncML initiative.

That's quite amusing. When iSync was first anounced, Stevie kept on going about how it used SyncML, the open standard, and all that. It was also posted all over the iSync website, but looking at it now, they've removed every mention of it.
Tsk tsk, Apple, that's not playing nice.

Tiran iSYNC is syncML compliant. In order for any bluetooth Ericsson phone 2 send a vcard. Y dont u try using a new comm port!

No. iSync does NOT use SyncML. At least not for syncing with phones (what they use for syncing with .Mac I don't know. But it don't seem to be SyncML either). If you look at the plugin for syncing with bluetooth phones it only includes any mention of IrMC and none of SyncML.
If you have any proof of it using SyncML at all please share it. Until then please understand that I have already investigates the matter a lot. So please belive me when I again and again says that is does NOT use SyncML.
