Correct. Permissions are needed on every step especially on phones. This is result of the java phones are using.

you have to pair with the phone, then tell it to "always allow" access to your phone, in the bluetooth settings.

I let my friend with a samsung phone use the file browsing thing on my fone - just to try it, at first u have to be accepted on the my devices list then u need to accept, and then if you want to stop it just repeatedly press the right soft key and on his phone it comes up with bluetooth connection failed

Yessss! My friend has a samsung phone and they can totally view all your files and chose which one to get.

It kinda invades your privacy though.

Yessss! My friend has samsung they can view all your files

but the thing is, it asks permisson on my phone everytime he moves the cursor to a new file. If you repeatedly press the right softkey, his phone freezes
