If you just remove the added icon, then the P1 should use the default icon by, er... default
Anyway all the default icons should be in .mbm files on the Z: drive, just copy them out to a folder you can access via your pc. SMP can do this too

mirror the path of where you're trying to paste it on your memory stick, and put it there. ie. if the path is z:resource...etc, put it in d:resource....etc. then reboot the phone, and the MS version will supercede the other, as long as the filenames and path are identical.
This is really useful, as it means you never change anything in phone memory, and so all your changes are easily reversible.
You also can't past anything into the z: drive anyway, as it's strictly read only for us mere mortals!!
If you put your phone into file transfer mode, you will be able to create the correct folders on the memory stick via your pc.

Thanks AD for help.
What I understand from you is the following
I used Swiss software to get the file that contains the pictures. I found the file was vegamtmuidata.mbm in the path C: resorces/ messaging
I took this file and edit it. I removed the images that I don't want them. Then, I swiched my phone to File transfer.
I made a path which is
Z:Resources/messaging
then I put the modified vegamtmuidata.mbm with the same name as in the phone memory.
That's right? Should it in this case changed? I Didn't see any change in the icons :'(

That's correct, it seems though that as you hve removed the icons, the phone is using the originals anyway, hmm...looks like your first thought about having to replace them with the SE ones was right, and that having an empty file causes it to revert to the one on the internal disk. I guess you have to replace the ones you removed with something else for it to use.
BTW, this method for icon change has only been used for icons within the OS, so it may not work at all - but I can't think why it wouldn't as it's the OS that parses the icons for everything.
Oh, did you call the top folder "z:"? if so then this is wrong it should start with "resource", so that apart from the drive they are on, the paths are the same.

The mirroring method is being used in order to override system files stored in Z: (rom drive), such as fonts, and the mirror is being created on drive d: (memory stick).
But in your case this isn't required, as you intend to change the appearance of an icon of a user-installed application on drive C: (and not a system icon on drive Z:).
So, theoretically, all you have to do is to edit the file and save it in its original location on drive C:
Theoretically, because I never felt the need to make such a modification on any application, but it should work.

Thanks all
I still couldn't edit this file in C directly
myth® Do you know any other way to overwrite on this file? instead of using the "Swiss" software? if yes, I would be happy to know that.

Have you checked the attributes of the file you're trying to overwrite? You can do this in swiss manager via the 'i' button on the left. If it's set to 'read only' pasting over the top won't work.
