you can activate the keyboar by tapping on the icons at the bottom of the screen.
to change the sms tone go to Contal panal then to conections and then to messaging accounts. here you can change evrything about messaging including alerts.

DMX. In the controllpanel goto text input. If you choose cics jotpro as primary text input you will allways have the handwriting rec. as primary input methode. As long as you see the arrow on the right side you can use your pen -even when you don't have "blank fields" to write on.

Dmx, the easiest way is to begin the call in FC (flip closed) and then open the flip, the speaker phone is automatically enabled.
If you start the call in FO and then go to another application, say calendar, and want speaker phone, click on the speaker icon and tick "Speaker phone", voilą!

Another tip: If you don't want to take calls, don't turn the phone OFF, push the on/off button and enable "Flight mode".
