As time goes on, components get smaller. By the time this is out, everything that was in the N95 will generally be a few millimeters smaller, thus making it possible to put 16GB memory and a Xenon flash in.

Really though, it's a pretty good all-rounder, you can't expect EVERYTHING, and no matter what they make, I bet you're the one person who can think of something else to add to it

Ya atleast im the one person who can think of whtelse to add, with out which technology and innovation would die.

BTW if u have noticed N96 is not a step up, if u have noticed the camera lens has been reduced from 5.6 to 5.2mm same as k850i, which is very bad news, and they removed the 3d accelerator.Ya of course common people may not know this, but not a technical expert.

As far as i know, Nokia had only used a different CPU chip. 3d accelerator alongside with the sound and video DSP were all integrated on the SMT CPU chip in N96. Just think of this: if it has no 3d accelerator, we shouldn't expect N96 to record/play VGA@ 30fps video - as this task is only possible with an accelerator slapped in it

This is what I've been trying to tell a guy at work who wants to buy the (now long dead) N92 or the N77, for the TV, and I keep telling him it won't work. He insists its the same frequency freeview works on, what a dumbass lol

the trouble with xenon flash is that it uses electrolytic capacitors, which are bulky and won't get very much smaller since it is physically impossible to make a smaller capacitor with the same capacitance which meets specs.

This story is utter rubbish. No Xenon flash will be added.

Yep,it doesn't have 3D acceleration, it has an a video and audio DSP. From i know 3D acceleration is not needed for Ngage gaming, my N81 runs the Ngage games very well and im sure the N96 will be the same

it would be a real wonder if n96 survives 12h at heavy usage, next to it the xenon flash ( which is a bonus of course ) will drain the batt more faster
