Well this CID53 upgrade is ment to stop the modding of our phones in my opinion... That was the same case with the CID36 in the past. The K750s were CID36 until the modding started. Then

started to manufacture then CID49... The W810 is the same case... CID49 and then CID50... So this is what is happening with the DB2020 series too... They had 3 CIDs in the beginning that were cracked (CID49, 51 and 52), so now

releases a new kind of "protection" named as CID53 so we cannot mod our phones... But don't worry it will be cracked very soon

(as usual) hahahaa

@whatsucka
about your dead CID36 W800... SEUS doesn't work with dead phones... It works only with fully functional working phones, just to update the firmware (and f*** up your CID

). Anyway your W800 can be repaired for sure if it is software problem. Have you tried flashing the MAIN and the FS... If not, a complete software flash can solve the issue for sure. It includes:
GDFS write (new gdfs)
flash EROM
flash MAIN
lash FS
customize...
But if the phone is not recognized by the PC when connected with DCU60 cable, you will need to look for service cable (cruiser works fine with CID36 W800s)...

The difference between the regular DCU60 and the service cable is that the service cable can revive a dead phone, and make the pc recognize and flash it even if the pc does'nt recognize it. With other words, it alives the dead

There might be several reasons why your PC does not recognize your phone... It may be:
- hardware damage
- fastport damage (broken connectors or cable)
- empty battery
- software damage (EROM and GDFS)...
The last 2 are 99% of your case... Anyway if it is the battery, the phone will be recognized after recharging the batt... (if not try with another one)...
If it is the "software damage" thing, (damaged EROM or GDFS) and the phone is not recognized by the PC, you will have to use service cable to reflash it's EROM and GDFS... The service cable uses 3+ volt battery (anyway I use 9V hahaha

) to revive the dead phone - put some electricity in it so the PC can flash it's EROM or GDFS and make it alive again

.
Hope you understood me:)
