Bluetooth would probably be faster as I think the T610i uses USB 1.0 rather than 2.0 or something, so it has a slow transfer speed. I'd still go with the USB cable though, simply because I think its more reliable, and of course the better options.

Oh btw happy 500th post ^^^

Thanks for the information... I too have done an extensive search on this site looking for information on it. Actually 5 hours worth of searching. In any case I googled the cable names and supposedly the DSC-11 cable is for unlocking, flashing, and debranding the T610. The DCU-11 cable is reportedly for sending data from pc to the T610 and vice versa.

I guess I'll just have to buy the DCU-11 to be sure it's what I need. Heck it only costs $1 on ebay plus $4 shipping so it wouldn't kill me to buy it.

Though does anyone know of any good programs for me to use with it such as sending themes to my T610, games, and backing up my sim info???

Thank You

Floats Mobile Agent may still work with T610.

To hell with it I just ordered a bluetooth usb dongle for it. Thanks for the info though guys. I heard that usb cable has a slow connection on the T610 for some reason and bluetooth is faster so I'm going to do that.

Hey anyone know how to put themes I have on my pc for my T610 on my phone?

Thanks

Use some application that can open the phone memory so you can copy the themes to the phone...

Anyway if you have ordered the bluetooth dongle now, it will be simplier with it... Just right click on the theme on the pc, click SendTo, click Bluetooth device... Folow the wizard and that's it ...

P.S. Even I have usb cable, I still use this bluetooth method to send small files to my K800

My T610 bluetooth isn't working, and neither is the serial connection (cable). So I just used My WM handset connected to my home wifi to download T610 themes, then sent them from there to my T610 via Infrared.

I don't know about your bt dongle and etc... but the bluetooth should work for standard file transfer operations...

And your sure of this because you've done it before with the T610?

I've not done it with T610 exactly but it should work in my opinion... I don't see reason why not
