I remember now similar thing happened to my old K800i couple years back. I woke up one morning and went to switch it on and it was dead. Nothing. It had died in its sleep.

I'm a k850i owner aswell, should i be worried by the number of negative threads on this forum? I still have the original firmware, cos the only means i can update is thru fone, but SE 4 whatever reason don't release latest firmware over the air? I randomly get fone crashes, but is this simply delaying the inevitable!
