Exactly, IMO Player of the Year could very well be the man who performs the best in the second leg, the final and Euro '08.

ManU had had easy teams throughout the CL, now they play a team that won the cup a few years back and you can see that its too much quality to handle. ManU defence gets all the credit, they were great but you see how weak their attack is. In the EPL all you need is speed and strength but that won't work against Barca. I expect the same at Old Trafford. There is a huge difference between the EPL and CL. So far the best performance was Arsenal v Milan, they played proper quality possession football and overcame the holders. I feel that Liverpool will have the best chance against Barca in the final rather than Chelski.

There is no doubt in my mind, that he will get player of the year, but I think a player of his skill, should be able to perform on the big stage.

Man utd have not been impressive this season. Sure they have won games but not with the style which they won it with last year. In my opinion Liverpool are very lucky, they have not been impressive either, and if Spurs did not flop in the start of the Season, I honestly could'nt have seen Liverpool coming 4th. You guys will proberly disagree, I am a Spurs fan afterall lol

EDIT

How can you guys defend Ronaldo with the penalty!? Its alright blasting it from 40 yards in the back of the net with the hole team in the way, but when its 12 yards and only the keeper, he can't do it? I mean wtf is up with that?

For £150,000 a week, should be a piece of piss, and if he struggles, practice.
