I've got GPRS with T-Mobile. Dont know how- just woke up one morning and it had been activated!!
Don't notice much difference apart from the bar above the signal strength and WAP looks slightly different!

yes mate, unless you are on freetime 750 which is the only tariff with free wap calls if you are on their own provider (t-zones). if you are not on that tariff it is 10p/min. other wap providers are charged at different rates.

That's what i thought at first but my dad explained to me that T-Zones was simply the "service provider" for WAP ie. you might have AOL or NTL for your internet connection at home.
So visiting Esato and other WAP sites is included in your free time.

what is the difference between wap and wap via gprs, I have a good bit of knowledge of wap (usage/client side only) but Im new to GSM I was on the tdma & cdma nets here in the states before so GPRS is somthing I had only heard of until last week when I switched.
I can only seem to access wap sites when I have a GPRS signal any other time it says "connection failed" Is there a way to set up another profile or somthing so I can use wap without a gprs signal?
Im on T-mobile philadelphia market,
Bhang!
