If you have nails on your fingers, avoid the K850i

No. I have a Sony T-100. Daylight pics are good, but anywhere else its very very mediocre. Some of the times its quite unbearable especially when the ISO goes up to 800.

That is to be expected from a camera with a 1/2.5" 8MP sensor. Same sensor in my Canon Digital IXUS 860. I wouldn't dream of using higher ISO than 80 when shooting low light shots.

How do you manage it then? When i use ISO 100 or 200 on a relatively low light situation, the picture comes out very dark despite of the flash.

I realised too late. Just two days ago when mine buggered up (again). Oh wait a minute, the keypad started to naff up in just 2 months after I got it.

Oh well, it does have a 2 year warranty

I'm soooo glad that I didnt sell my K800i now.

I really like the Z770i and want one of them instead of the K850i now lol. I can hopefully get a new K850i, ebay it and pick up a Z770i after they get released.

In manual mode I can set shutter speed manually, up to 15 seconds long.

The T100 has a Twilight mode. Try it.

I find Sony cameras very good with Carl Ziess lenses they always seem sharp. Its better to have a lens that sticks out lets in more light and has less barrel distortion. Its worse if your lens is a non protruding one fixed inside the camera. I got a Sony 7.2 mega pixel W80 and its pictures quality is stunning very sharp for a compact. It was given 5 stars too in some reviews. As for phone i would not buy the W580i very poor construction dreadful call quality very muffled rubbish sound for music and rubbish keys. Has good screen and camera pictures look nice on screen and it looks nice but dont get it. Buy a W910i or something.
