Back on topic : Still, if /// introduced it, should have fixed the problem of this message randomly appearing to trouble the customers. From what I just read, even phones as new as the s700i are having this trouble.

I THINK it has something to do with the protection circuit, which feeds it's info on the battery state, eg temp, into the phone via the middle battery contact. If the info isn't transferring correctly, the phone assumes it's an alien. Try giving all the contacts on phone and battery a light clean. If that doesn't work, watch out for the little green men.
