the alien batt message pops up at non orig batts. i think u mean r5d, right? did u make the upgrade?

I THINK it has something to do with the protection circuit, which feeds it's info on the battery state, eg temp, into the phone via the middle battery contact. If the info isn't transferring correctly, the phone assumes it's an alien. Try giving all the contacts on phone and battery a light clean. If that doesn't work, watch out for the little green men. Live long and Prosper....
