Preety much exactly what I said in the X1 thread. SE are a backwards company that lack innovation.

I remember back when the K750 was the newest thing out there... I just loved all the features put into a simple, budget design. That's what got me hooked to SE. But now they actually release a buggy phone with so many design flaws...

I guess they're in some kind of testing period or something... because this just doesn't seem like them.

I just think its a shame. So many of their latest phones have poor reliability poor build quality poor music quality cameras not up to normal standard and alot of their new phones always seems to have very muffled and very quiet call quality. Whats going on SE. So many other manufacturers have raced past them with their technology and new fresh innovations why i dont know. I for one wont buy any new phones of theirs until i see or hear of improvements. Sorry SE bring back the good old days.

Sincerely, I think most of the people here were hooked by SE's K750i, W800i or, if they could afford them, the P900/P910i. But after this, they went downhill..

What kind of a testing period could this be? testing old hardware to the limits? or testing our patience? i guess we're the beta-testers, right?

hmm.. that is not true i think. At first i thought just like you guys, but after i bought W910, i change my mind alot. Each and every year, SE improve in many different sectors. W910 gives me everything i need. Sound quality is ok, i've nothing to complaint about. W910 has a brilliant screen, much better than the previous SE phones. It is also slim, although it might not be the slimmest slider, i dun mind, its enough, i dun need SE to make any slimmer. Build quality perfect, the slider is much better than my brother's W850 back 2 years ago.

Don't just look at the white paper and say omg not the same specs again!! i've noticed that SE implement different screen for K750, W810, K550. The newest one got a better screen! On the paper you might see 175X220 262K, but in reality, SE has used a different type of screen. The color reproduction, the viewing angle, direct sunlight legibility... everything.

W910 and K800 has exactly the same screen if you look at the white paper: 320X240, 262K. But, i've compared the two screens, and i can say that W910 has a much better screen compare to K800 in all those aspects i mentioned above.

i really missed the green and blue lights (bluetooth and phone lights) like the T68i,T39m,P910i which were really classic

i started to get bored of the menus, they have to change the look and design, its almost the same since the K700i, and i agree about the loud speakers, the P900i specially had an amazing sound quality and was quite loud.

build quality was much better in previous SE's and Ericssons, T39m, T610i, P910i for example, were very unique phones with an amazing build quality and materials, nothing compared with a phone like a P990i .

i really love the P series, but i can say that the P990i was the worst, its the only P phone that i dont have, and i dont want to own one, for me its a black dot in SE's history.

but indeed, i still see that SE are the best in market, and i still prefer SE on other phones,
