im trying to see if i can unlock this phone on my own to use on my tmobile network... is it possible?

only if you apply an unlock network patch with setool 2 lite

*though i dont know whether there is one or not for this firmware version.
**if you flash your phone, the patch will be gone anf you'd have to patch it again.
