i almost bought an i780 because it has great value for money considering it's specs and features. this new wm smartphone is great imo. the lack of qwerty keyboard has some drawbacks but being an ipaq ppc user, i think i can live without the keyboard.

GsmArena has done a comparison and detailed review of the Omnia vs the Diamond. This review proves that though it's Samsung branded it does perform. My true gripe is the screen resolution and brightness. I really would love if they improved on that.

Actually i wrote that post before really seeing this phone. For first time in ages im liking this Samsung. Have not had a Samsung since D600 days. The specs look good plus it looks stunning. The screen looks ok to me though perhaps the brightness is not up to normal Samsung quality i think they were thinking of battery life. GSM Arena said battery life was good.
