I had this email from Expansys today re: P800 UK release:
Quote:We do not have a confirmed date from Ericsson therefore its difficult to answer your question accurately. WE are no longer getting the import units as we had a problem with the suppliers. We should get stock in about two months. Please e-mail again for an update.

You cant wait? Im currently using a t68i without a joystick! The service centre wants me to pay 20 quid for a new one, which is blatantly extracting the urine. Roll on (insert expected release date here)!

Whoa! How'd ya manage to break the joystick? I put my little stick through 20,000+ moves and it still feels rock solid

(or is 20,000 not a lot these days?)
Proper urine extracting service can be had for much cheaper than £20, it's only that expensive cos it's Sony

ummm SE's home patch? Ericsson are Swedish, Sony are Japanese, just because they have offices here doesn't mean this is their home turf, and compared to the rest of Europe and Japan, we in the UK mean little!

super - i know what ur saying, but if ur that desperate why not get an import or a pre-release model? i can get a pre-release one for £400 but would rather wait for one that's fully supported. i read somewhere on here a while ago saying that the UK networks are the most stringent in testing the phones b4 release, surely a good thing in the long run? and at least they'll hopefully have ironed out some of the issues that we've been reading about here from people that have them already. Just be patient m8!

man i get what your saying to but its will almost be a year that we hav been waiting for the p800 if it comes out in feb since it shown last march and i will wait since i like to go to a local shop and buy it, but £400 for a pre-release is good since you get if for almost £200 cheaper and all you have to do is get a software update once the com-version is out out?
