Ive realised from personal experince that unless am driving in a foreign country, the GPS module is rarely used, since in most places its faster to ask ppl directions!

I would love an inbuilt GPS module which doesnt rely much/not at all, on GPRS too, but havent found one.

As for the C702 it looks like the best travelling companion with its dust n splash proofing. Inbuilt GPS with it would be the obvious (but missing ) feature from SE.

i think you mean an on-board solution (so it contains all the maps), right? since the c702 contains a aGPS module

The on-board part is not a must have for me, IF i can use my PDA as a tom-tom screen, and the c702 as a GPS module.

Does anybody know if this is possible?

@ares, yes you where, and it awnserd my first question
thanks for reminding too, all the official websites were not that clear on supporting UIQ3 (except Wayfinder)

my final question though is:"can i use a non uiq3 mobile, with an aGPS module (like the c702) as an external GPS module for my PDA?"

thnx in advance

Hmm, there´s two threads about C702 and GPS/navigation, so I try this: Look in this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=170301&forum=2 for news from wayfinder about pre-installed maps.
