The MMC-70 is for music only and also acts as an antenna for the radio. There is not a symbol that appears when the cable is attached.

Well that's normal for the music cable imo. It is meant to transfer only music, not calls and other phone sounds... Anyway, the phone recognizes it as a handsfree because it is some sort of
. It only has the jacks to connect to another device istead of the earpieces
