If I've got no use for my organs... which I won't if I'm dead, someone who needs my kidneys, heart, liver, lungs etc. (or whatever they can actually take) are more than welcome to having them.

i'd donate everything and what's left i'd like incinerated and sprinkled over the veg gardens at Wisley... i'm useful in life and i'd like to be useful in death too.

I have never really thought about it but yes i would. What good is my body lying in the ground useless when my organs could be saving someone. What i hate seeing is some children suffering or really ill that makes me want to do something like that. Will it secure my place in heaven eh lol. I am catholic though i would still do it. Im sure the way some people live today their organs wont be healthy lol

Yes without a doubt i think everybody should you won't need them will you so why not let them benefit someone else and give them a better quality of life, nothing better than that really. Although i do have a slight thing about my corneas for some reason, someone having my eyes freaks me out but take all the rest, proud to have a donor card, just hope it doesn't get used anywhere in the near future!

Do try to donate eyes,

the sheer number of people waiting just to see the world is in their tens of thousands because of lack of eye donors.

Every time a new eye operation camp is done here for the poor, thousands of sight impaired people turn up, hoping their number has come.

each of them gets just one eye so 2 people can benefit from an eye each.

its nice to know your eyes will continue to live and see thru someone else long after youve gone.

After death, the persons eyes are removed from under closed eye lids so no one can tell the difference.

Ive signed up myself, family n friends and even random people in parties, discs and on the street

Go do it Miss UK, someone somewhere will be very happy long after uve gone

Mmm the eye donation is just freeky, even after working with eyes for so long I just dont think I could. Personally I would prefer to go whole, go as we came. Who knows what awaits us at the other end, I hardly want to be a blind man in heaven

Ah no,its ok to donate as if we make it to heaven we get a whole new body, and SE phones with enhanced features like 180Gb inbuilt memory, P1i's with 7 megapixel image stabilization and optical zooms, and a god who uses a PIM to keep in touch with all of us

seriously, we arent taking anything with us from here
