The Brabus turbo model is quite good from what I read.
Bit toy-like for me, but I can understand the attraction.

Either the Smart, or look at the Panda, or if you don't want to lose some of the cred from your BMW, the Smart Roadster and Smart Coupe offer similar MPG and tax etc to the standard smart but are far faster and cooler
