hey chaps!
I have the c902 and really like it, shame about the led flash (had the k800i) but good solid phone!
2 problems...
the video recorder seems very jerky and the zoom function has am ind of its own, i.e press 'zoom in' then 30 seconds later it might decide to zoom in, by then I have gotten bored and pressed 'end recording' but still nothing happens. anyone else have this problem?
also
I am in the UK and on the '3' network, I have tried updating my phone but it says I have the up to date software, is there a way to get rid of the '3' menu buttons and update the phone?
Cheers
Darren

What network are you guys who have successfully updated on?
I tried to update last night but it said I have the latest version? I am on Vodafone.
Mines not branded to any network. Well...It used to be an o2 Uk branded handset until I debranded it to the Customised Uk Western Europe software the same day I bought the phone.

Yes. Debrand the phone via Davinci and then update it via SEUS.

In this forums there are threads located in software sections meant to overview the firmware history...
Look for:
K850 firmware overview
W910 firmware overview
K800 firmware overview and etc...
There are "firmware history overview" threads for plenty of

phones... They all are located in the Software section.

Rookwise...
Debranding the phone...
Is this easily done?
Will it still work on my network (three uk) as I know that if I take it to a shop they will not try to 'unlock' the phones on 'three' due to the software they put on it.
cheers

It helps if you look first before posting something like that. There's no software thread for the C902 as of yet until someone actually makes one.

Completely easy mate. Takes about 15mins to debrand the phone. Davinci also do unlocking as well.
The phone will still work on 3 but you will lose the warranty and the pre installed 3 content. Basically restoring the phone back to the manufacturers spec.
If you decide to go ahead. You will need to select the Customized UK software and the colour of your phone.
After flashing (making sure you've removed the sim and memory card before flashing). Remove and reinsert the battery. Power up the phone and let it load up until you get the Insert Sim/Demo Tour prompt. Turn the phone off and then use SEUS to flash the phone to the latest software. Repeat the above to start up/shutdown the phone. The you can put the sim and memory card back in and all done
The link below will go to the instructions on how to do it:
http://www1.davinciteam.com/down?download=A2_flash.pdf
The link below will go to the page to buy credits for unlocking and debranding:
https://davinciteam.com/buycredits.html?pro=
All you need to do is register first. Then buy your credits and download the Davinci client. Dont download it from the home page as for some reason it just downloads a HTML script. Go into your account from the Davinci website and select downloads and it will be there.
You will need 60 credits to debrand and unlock the phone (10 to debrand and 50 to unlock). 10 credits costs about £8 I think.

cheers rookwise,
been looking for a while, just seems a little slow for a new se phone and obviously the video issues I am having will hopefully be resolved by going back to standard.
Will be looking into davinci.
It's not so much 'unlocking' as I only use three, more resetting back to factory standard.
thanks again
good to find someone who is so helpful on these issues, if you ever need anyone knowing about the internal workings of a 2.0l fiat engine just ask
cheers
