Yeah Silicone case sounds good, will def mention that to her.
They should make cases from bouncy rubber so when you drop it, it bounces back up to you

I too have been dropping my w810i from about 1metre every day for 1 year . even smashed it against wall twice. however it still works as well as it was new(in fact better now as i just recently modded it)
