Well I have tried them both now . The Swiss manager free is simple task manager, file manager and system information tool, while the PRO version gives you the taskbar tool which shows the processor working state, the free RAM state and MUCH more detailed system information.

PRO version is definately better than the free one

From the Process Explorer FAQ:

Q: How does Process Explorer differ from task managers?
A: Process Explorer can list not only ordinary applications, but also server processes (programs running invisibly in the background) that are not displayed by ordinary task managers. The servers can be terminated just like normal applications, resulting in more available memory for running other programs. In addition, detailed technical information is provided about each process, thread and window present in the system, which is not available when using an ordinary task manager.

@strizlow800: Please preferably discuss Swiss Manager in its own thread.

Version 1.10 of Process Explorer is released. The new version allows marking arbitrary groups of processes for termination, thus facilitating customized cleanup of runtime memory. Risk categorizations have been improved to provide safer automated cleanups. 1.10 is a free upgrade. Enjoy!

Process Explorer 1.30 has been released. The new version offers the following enhancements:

- Listing and termination of device drivers (system software never before shown on Symbian phones!).
- Ability to terminate any process on any SE UIQ3 phones, independently of the security status.
- Improved risk categorizations for safe cleanup and maximum resulting free memory.
- Available in five languages.

The upgrade to 1.30 is free for registered users. Free trial is available to all. Enjoy the program!

New Process Explorer 1.30, for get needed capability don't use "symbian signed" process, but hack the smartphone similar to CapsSwitch. It's maybe not bad, but should be known.

When listing or terminating processes, PE does not turn off platform security. Phone security is not compromised in any way while using PE.

It's probably true.
Phone security is not compromised in any way while using PE.
It's false.
On first run PE (ProcessExplorer) turn off platform security for a short time to get needed capability. I say this only for know to users. They should known this. I personally like PE.

For prevent turn off platform security you can before first run delete file [install_disk]:/private/A0001D23/e0c363fb.dat, but for this you need turn off platform security (for ex. with CapsSwitch).
