I agree the JD is vey useful for quick navigation, but would be more so if it were 5-way as in the P910, with the front click acting like the 'alt' key on a pc, and the back click rather than a back key, lord knows why they ditched this as you now have to reposition your thumb for both actions (menu open/back). Surely it wasn't due to the change in os as it can only be a matter of keymapping.

Well I mainly use the stylus to operate with my P1, but the fingers are also practical when you don't have need to use small objects from the menu ... Fingers are really handy when it comes the usage of the W960 walkman on my P1...

i like the display clean & i can keep it that way by using a stylus & not my fingers.

doesnt the w960 have a protection on the screen to keep fingerprints off it:)

i only use the stylus for web browsing as it can get abt tight. but i think the stylus on the w960 is the best one yet, my old phone (m600 i think) the stylus dropped out and wouldnt stay in where as this one sticks in will not move and is still quite ergernomic (sorry my spellings terrible)

Well I like the P1's stylus too... I don't know about the W960 one, but the P1's one is great to be holded in hand.

@supraking,
i am not sure if you are talking about the glass on the screen of the w960i or a screen protector but in either case by using your fingers you will have a screen smudged with fingerprints which i hate.
