I'm 16 and around 11stone?
I'm a little bit chubby but not enough to be called fat
I can wear t shirts and not look chubby an sometimes even look thin make sense?
Although saying that I've finished my gcse's and gave up my paper round 5 months ago so I've put on abit of weight since then!
Still, now I have time on my hands after I get back from my hols gonna start running again
I eat loads of junk but have stopped eating as much recently because for some reason I have found a love for special k and I just snack on that instead !
Lol make sense?

And you know what the important thing is? I'm happy. I'm happy with how I look and feel, and I really would only ever lose weight now if my health commanded it, not because I want to look any different.

Ye that's great, if your happy with how you are then there's no need to change at all, unless like you say for health reasons.
I done it because I really wanted to see what I'd look like not fat lol, and what's odd is looking at some pictures, I don't even look fat and I didn't feel fat, but my cloth sizes and *friends* begged to differ.

i've started getting into doing quite a bit of exercise and weight lifting etc, but i was wondering if you could give me a guide of what, and how much i should be eating and drinking!

I forgot to mention I also do weights, well...I have a set of dumbbells lol, I find what's best is to 1 night run, next night weights, next night run etc etc.
Alternate it between the two to give the muscles time to rest.
At one point for about a month I was doing both every night, and my arms always ached and my knee's always hurt and it made walking anywhere very painful and it's just not worth it.

Obviously if you can avoid it, no fizzy drinks, infact and you know this anyway the best drink is water.
Things like fresh Orange juice is good too in moderation (200ml of tropicana fresh orange with bit's is 86 calories)...so be careful what you drink, as like me you'd probably prefer to eat your calories and not drink them.

You can actually lose weight purely by drinking lots of water, a lot of them time people have water retention because they don't drink enough water, so their body holds on to it, so it's not fat, it's water retention...but on the outside it looks like fat.
The best way to get rid of it is to show your body it doesn't need to retain water, so drink lots of it.

Another way to lose weight by eating the same food that you do now is to spread it out to 5 meals, rather then 2-3 big ones.
Your body learns that it has a constant supply of food so your metabolism will speed up and also your digestive system will improve as it's not trying to digest 3 big heavy meals...but 5 smaller meals spread out.

And NEVER let yourself get hungry, because you'll only slow your metabolism down which will again burn food slowly which means you'll start to gain the weight back.
But with 5 meals spread out, you shouldn't feel hungry...and it also cuts out snacks.

Also what you eat makes a big difference, for example earlier I was hungry so I had a look in the cupboard and fridge, I had the choice between a yoghurt which was 102 calories and a rocky bar which was 102 calories...both the same, however which once will keep you feeling fuller for longer...the yoghurt. Chocolate will give you a quick fill and a quick sugar burst, but you'll also feel the hunger and crash quicker and leave you craving for something sweet.

I skip breakfast (I know, most important one of the day, better for weight loss etc) but I don't get up till around 10, and I don't feel hungry till 11.30, so at 11.30-12pm I have a big bowl of Jordans Museli (very nice try it), it has raison's, nuts and oats in it and no added sugar...Unlike crappy alpen (eugh). Museli is very good for the digestive system, releases energy slowly, little fat and fills you up for hours.

Try to stay away from things with stupid amounts of calories, for example I have a curry pot noodle, and it has around 374 calories in it, for around the same amount of calories you could have a bowl of museli (inc semi-skimmed milk) which IMO is alot nicer, takes me longer to eat (which is good as I like to eat) and makes me feel full and keeps me full for hours.

Where as the pot noodle will fill me, but make me feel bloated, not full...and doesn't last half as long, you will feel hungry quicker, causing you to eat more.

So ye, just watch the calorie input, to lose weight quickly, limit yourself to 2000 calories (2500 recommended for men daily), and do your weights as you'll be burning calories and also try to walk for 1h a day...and if your bored at 11pm, don't watch TV, go for a quick 10min run or fast walk, every little counts.

Also, protein helps build muscle, eat lots of chicken (I bought myself a george foreman fat reducing grill just for this lmao).

Btw that's all from personal experience and advice I read on the net, it could be wrong, but thought I'd still offer my 2pence worth.

I 100% agree, I see girls down the park who are really thin...and they'll have a friend who isn't fat...but looks healthy compared, and I prefer them deff. The look of bones isn't attractive at all. I find models etc too skinny most of the time, god knows why some of them want to be size 0...Just looks revolting.

Good on ya!
I agree keeping busy is good, however when you use the internet to look for work...shop...have fun...and you like to watch films and play games and lets face it I have 0 friends....it's hard to get out and do stuff which is why I walk the dog 4 times a day and go for a run before bed (Infact I'll be going for a short run after this post), running before bed is brilliant, I used to lie there for up to an hour most nights trying to get to sleep because I'd watch a film and eat throughout the whole thing...then try and sleep and just couldn't. But now because I'm warn out I can fall asleep within 4mins, brilliant

im happy with my weight, but need to tone up so will be taking up boxing (like a good number of friends) begining of next month when i start my new job!

Nice one mate, wish I had the guts to take up something like boxing, I've thought about a martial art....But just would never have the guts to go and do it...shame really.

That gives you a BMI of around 22/22.5 which is healthy

If people want to work out theirs I use the kelloggs site:

another thing I have to admit is that ive started drinking atleast 5 glasses of water per day, drinking one when you wake up is very refreshing try it..

I never used to eat breakfast as much as I do now,
but I eat 3 slices of toast and sometimes skip lunch and eat something big in the evening, today I went to Somerfield and bought a Chicken Caesar wrap for lunch as I was quite hungry lol

but somedays I don't feel like lunch at all
and will just eat a Tracker or somethin similar with a cuppa tea

on the scales im a 9 Stone,
I have to arrange a medical appointment at my new doctors,
I just hope they don't say im underweight again and start giving me the third degree's lol
