Strange!!!!

I can send 'some' ringtones using sms. These have been downloaded via wap.

But some that I downloaded plus the ones that I send to my T68i by infrared do not show in the menu --> insert item -->melody.

The ones that I downloaded eg. Heartbeat101 and AxelF , when I check them in Fun and Games --> My sounds.... and then select one and hit options, I get

1.play
2.edit
3.send
etc.

I choose send and get

1.Via infrared,
2.Via bluetooth
3.Via MMS
4.Via SMS

But the ringtones that I sent to my T68I using the infrared of my pc...
do not give the edit options... i.e.

1.play
2.send
etc.

and only

1.Via infrared,
2.Via bluetooth
appear if you select 'send'!

Any ideas why?

thanks for the link!! That's great!!!! Thank you for taking the time to help me!

I got it cracked by anothe rmethod too!! By using the KISS approach.

K - keep
I - it
S - simple,
S -stupid!

I renamed the file to .imy and then used infrared to send it to my T68. then I could see I could SMS it to my wife's new T600!!!

She is happy! I am happy!!! Lucky tonight! Ooops! Sorry about that !
