The build quality of the K700i was much better than of the K750i. I agree that it looked a bit plastic with it's transparent buttons. But there was definitely no creaking from the battery cover as I've experienced with all SE phones I've tried since the K700i: K750i, P990i, K770i and W580i.
(The battery cover on the K700i had an inner part of metal so it wouldn't flex.)

You are very different from a lot of people. If everyone felt like you there wouldn't be any Symbian, UIQ or Windows Mobile.
i do (mostly) 4 things with my cell phones:
calling
sms/mms
camera
music/radio
And by the look of the tiny photos you keep on posting, 4.3 out of 5 megapixels are wasted. Why don't you buy a T303?

about k700 i think it was quite crappy. i was never happy with that phone. to much cheap plastic for my taste.
(T610 & T630 was way better)
