Oh drown for definate. I knew someone who almost drowned in 2 swimming pool once and she said she felt her lungs fill up and then calm. Though she obviously lived. Burning not nice. If you burn and live that would be worse.

Surley burning would be the prefered option of the 2? Once you've been burning for a certain amount of time you'd just pass out and not feel most of it. While drowning you'd at least struggle for a while.
