Nope the BST-38 is 930mAh, the BST-33 is 950mAh.

I've tried both phones and this is my impression:
-Both feel solid and weel built.
-However, the w890i seems to be little but slower than the c902. New models with the a200 paltform are faster. But if you compare them to an old SE (k550, w810, k800), both are slow and laggy.
-I dont find GREAT difference in what comes to music player between the walkman and the cybershot.
My personal opinion about the w890: very ugly, has the shape of a rounded w880, D-pad from k550 and softkeys from w810.
If you've got the extra bucks, c902 is the way to go.

Think twice before making analogies using cars; the 240 was a very successful racecar with a victory in the 1985 Nissan Mobil 500km race in Wellington where it started from last place... and taking the 1986 Australian Touring Car Championship plus victories in Europe as well.
The W890 is a great phone and C902 appears to be good also. Where does your focus lie: music and style or camera?
I'd stick with the W890 + 8GB M2 - thats a tough combination to beat.

I have w890 and its not slow its got a very good non af camera and excellent sound but it has one drawback that the speaker is very low. Ring volume is extremely low compared to any cheap low quality low budget in the whole wide wide world. I find c902 a very good option.

new features means much more. besides, C902 have a classic Sony Ericsson design and best camera of all
phones, thats quite cool for a 10mm phone

Not everyone has the same needs as you plank.
To the original poster: Can you not keep the 8GB M2 and get the C902?

Well the C902 is newer so its obviously going to have more features. The W890 is a walkman phone but its media player is the same as the one in the C902 without the pointless gimmicks and the button on the side of the phone. However, it does have more memory and better headphones, in the end if music is more important for you than camera then keep the W890. If not then chose the C902.
Also the W890 is the most beautiful looking SE phone (imo) which is why I bought it

when i bouth my w890i i got they 8gb memory card with it and now i am not being able to use som futures like msn messenger and skype i have operator three sweden and thats why they told me that they could change the mobile because i have been waiting to use msn messenger in w890i for 3 months now . and thats why i thing that i will have to return they m2 card aswell. because three sweden are only giving 8gb card with w890i.
i only take photos when i am in india or sometimes in sweden. i listen to music when i go to school (not always).
my dad has a k800 and we also got a 5mp digital cam (we never use) that i can use when i want to take picture.
