An updated E71? Where'd you hear that?
You could just buy the E71 unlocked/unbranded on o2 payg from carphone warehouse for £280 but you might need to buy £10 credit.

I've been looking into this, and buying it from CPW on 'pay as you go', which is unlocked unbranded anyway, is probably the most efficient way of just getting the phone if you've already got a contract to use it with (£289 inc £10 credit)
However, if you want it with a contract, Three are currently doing it for free from £20/month 18-month, which is not bad.

Ok, I caved in, and just bought a lovely E71 in 'white steel' on Three, and obviously it's locked, so I desperately need to unlock this so I can start using it, any suggestions? I'm open to the fact I'm going to have to pay for it.
