I know only a little

N85 vs N95 8Gb

-FP2 vs Fp1
-Smaller 2.6" AM(Active Matrix) OLED vs 2.8" AM(active matrix) TFT
-One more LED light vs Single LED light
-74Mb + microSD vs 8Gb
-FM radio + transmitter + RDS vs FM radio only
-UpNp vs DLNA

RDS is meaningless for me (Actually the whole radio thing I don't use on the go at all - I have a car radio for that )
FM transmiter hmmmm . . . I have a bluetooth car radio for phonecalls and mp3 in car streaming. What exactly is the transmitter for?
And can you elaborate on the last thing? Is greek to me Do I really need it, or is a extra battery draining gimmik ?
Tx in advance.

N95 8Gb has UPNP too. It does not however have DLNA. i8510 has it though.

It does have one, actually N95 8Gb was the first DLNA certified mobile phone

here's the proof for you to look at:

Hmmm . . . Why then SE makes such a big Hulabwala about it? I thought SE is first with it on the market by the sound of their trumpet
Either way is a useless feature for me Nice to know is there - somewhere

Hi Mario,

UPNP and even DNLA have been around for quite a while but won't really start to hit mainstream or even be really useful until more TV's and equipment starts coming with it as a standard feature.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that my N93 way back in September 2006 had UPNP and was one of the first devices to do so. Actually the N93 really was quite a breakthrough product and had quite a few first's for a smartphone. I'd still love to see a new version with the same form factor and powered by an OMAP3 chip or similar.

Marc

Yep N93 was a real breakthrough, if NOKIA had added On Demand Paging to it it would've been so close to perfect. Still the only phone with Stereo sound Video Recording (2-mics).
What gets me is that the N78 was just released a few months ago and there's already a replacement for it, N79, and its being released with a great price tag.
N85 and N96 are still pretty different. Its like N92 (N96) and N93 (N85) except now the N92 (N96) has the same camera, internaly both are very different.
