you get a better keyboard and p1 is better built than w960.

Walkman 3 on the P1i works just perfect. sound quality is just as good and you'll get the QWERTY keyboard, so I'd say go with the P1i. my phone already came with the latest firmware available so I never experienced the dreaded green tint.

well l've owned both and i currently use the 960 cuz its walkman oriented..the touchscreen has a better built...the softkeys for walkman are great and i am not a qwerty fan..plus it has volume sidekeys..it all depends of your main usage

As others said - the qwerty on the P1 is well worth having (assuming you get used to it of course...
) and since we can now put the walkman player on to the P1, it's even better. Plus I like the removable storage - the 960 doesn't have a removable memory card (does it?)
